Love this park and has shade over the kids play area. And a work station
It’s a good place to take family but the only issue I have is that there isn’t tables for a picnic or anything like that.
Big improvement with respect to kids playground. However the baseball field needs improvement and grass area needs to be leveled so that people walking won’t twist an ankle.
This is a well manicured Park, with newer sidewalks. Very aesthetic, peaceful, and safe place. It is centrally located in Lamont. There is Job and Family Services as well as a public library, baseball diamonds, playground and even a pool. There is all the time someone visiting the park whether it be the old men playing cards or the little kids on the playground. Very little to no crime, Vandals, or transits. Only downside is roadways around Park can be very busy at times.
I wouldn’t take my children there ever again. There’s ilegal gambling always going on. Teens smoking weed in the baseball dugout near the playground and playing out on the playground not letting the kids play at all because they’re in there doing good knows what.
