Mooney Grove Dog Park is a well-loved destination for local dog owners, conveniently located within Mooney Grove Park in Visalia, California. This spacious dog park is fully wheelchair accessible and features a bark ground cover, mature shade trees, and paved sidewalks—making it comfortable for both pets and their owners. One of its standout amenities is a dedicated agility area, perfect for dogs that like to play and train.
There are two roomy, fenced areas which may serve different dog sizes, and the park keeps owners comfortable with plenty of shade and seating. You’ll find well-maintained waste stations with bags and bins, as well as water fountains for both dogs and their people. Mooney Grove Park also offers pet-friendly walking trails, picnic areas, restrooms, and beautiful views overlooking a lake. While there may be a fee to enter the main park, access to the dog park itself does not appear to require an extra charge, except possibly for the county museum.
There is no grassy area, they use bark. Also, to enter Mooney Grove, you have to pay NULL to enter or NULL if you have handicap placard.
2 nice roomy areas with sidewalks and mature shade trees and filled with bark to prevent from being muddy. Also has bad dispensaries and disposal areas well maintained as well as waterers for people as well as dogs. One side even has an agility training playground. The dog trails are surrounded by grassy shady picnic areas with rest rooms, pretty walking trails around a lake and a county museum. To my knowledge it does not cost to visit unless you are going to the county museum.
