I enjoy this fairly shaded walk/run that passes thru the creek several times. Great picnic & BBQ spots, kids playground, and a dog park in the back.
The dirt was perfect for mountain biking Boom boom bike room and Total trash cycling club collaboration ride. So much fun. Great people. Perfect weather conditions.
This is a lovely, easy trail for a relaxing walk. The trail is mostly shaded by oaks and follows to the San Antonio creek. There are several creek crossings on the trail. The beginning of the path goes past the dog park, and continues on to end at highway 154. The whole trail took me a very leisurely hour one way. It probably could be done in 40-45 mins, so ~1.5 hrs total, if you’re walking at a brisk pace. I took these photos on 4/5/16, and there are lots of beautiful wildflowers and green scenery. Gorgeous!!
It is so green, lush and beautiful from the Winter’s rains. The creek has a beautiful stream. If you walk up the hike path there are many areas you can stop in and dip your feet in whilst there is still water flowing.
Great space for dogs. Fenced area, but if you have a dog that jumps fences, the fenced are easily jumped as they’re only about 4.5-5 feet high. Lots of balls in the park too if you need something to throw around. lastly, there is a faucet with a big bowl of water for the doggos!
