PAWS Park is a highly recommended dog park in Buellton, California, nestled on the scenic slopes of a hillside with stunning mountain views. This pet-friendly haven is easily accessible from the 101 freeway, making it a convenient stop for travelers and locals alike. Known for its expansive, grassy play areas, the park allows your dog plenty of space to run and explore in a beautiful, well-maintained environment.
The park features two large, fully fenced sections: one for small dogs and one for larger breeds. Each area is designed for maximum safety and enjoyment, offering dog toys and balls scattered around for spontaneous play sessions. Grassy terrain, occasional shade, and the natural slope make for good canine exercise and panoramic views. Wheelchair accessible parking and entrance make PAWS Park inclusive for everyone.
Every dog park should be designed like this one using a hillside to maximize your dog’s exercise. Kudos to the maintenance team for keeping the grass healthy so the dogs can run on a natural face.
This is one of the best dog parks we’ve been to. Close to the highway if you traveling on the 101. Stop here, your dog will thank you. There two fenced areas, one for large dogs and one for small dogs. All grass and lots of balls and toys for you pups to play with. This is a very well maintained dog park. When we were there we had it all to ourselves. On top of all that it has amazing views!

Next time I will bring his water bottle. 6/33 Absolutely a wonderful dog park and the view is beautiful. Wish they would turn the water on for the dogs.
It was a nice place to stop on our drive between Atascadero and Santa Barbara. About halfway between the two, not far off 101. I like that there are big grassy fenced areas, one for small dogs & one for large. They even had water bowls and dog rope toys& tennis balls. The photos I added were of the small dog area.
This park is a must visit for us whenever we travel to the Santa Ynez Valley with our dogs. Usually pretty quiet, it’s behind a nice neighborhood and has a TON of space for the dogs to get their run on. It’s also very beautiful as its on a slope of a hillside and has really nice views of the mountains. It’s separated into two areas, one for small dogs (
