The off leash dog park can be hard to find. You go up the road to a big white gate in Kiwanis meadow. You walk around the gate up the hill and to the left and in the back is the dog park. It is very dirt filled with a little grass but it is quite large.

The dog park is in the very back of the park. Follow the road until it ends then walk to the end of the side walk. The Dog park is what I visited this park for. It doesn’t have much grass and for the most part is fine dirt. It does have water available for the dogs. And there is a dog wash machine I have never seen before. But sure looks cool, it’s by the restrooms. The park itself seems like a fun place to walk and bbq during the winter months. Play grounds are scattered throughout.

Great place to walk and wash your dog.

I have been coming to Tucker’s Grove since I was a little kid. This park has always been my neighborhood park. I have been to weddings, birthdays, and gatherings here for years. The park is big. There are all kinds of great serene spaces. There are horseshoe pits and a playground area. Loads of picnic tables and areas. You can rent spaces or just set up. In the back, there are trails and water in the creek. It’s picturesque. Loads of free parking. During Covid, we used to come and hike, it was always pretty empty. Not now though. We had a nice area near the horseshoe pits and the playground. It was a perfect day, kind of hazy and around 72 °.
If you’re looking for a place to meditate, picnic, read a book, have a day hike or just gather with friends, check out Tucker’s Grove. It is located where Turnpike meets Cathedral Oaks (4800 Cathedral Oaks).

Beautiful park, lots of shade for activities. Water streams. Dog park and there’s actually a place to give your dog a bath. The machine charges for that. It has options for the wash. Just a really nice place.
