Excellent state park. Highly recommended as a stop between Macon and Savannah/Tybee Island.
Campground is clean and well kept. Joyce is an outstanding campground host.
Great biking hiking. Christmas lights. Breakfast at lodge. Clean bath houses. Some lots that state slight incline are pretty undeveloped. New cabins gorgeous.
My 3 yr old granddaughters birthday gathering was held here. The picnic shelter was large, clean, and well kept. The children enjoyed the playground and riding their bikes. The splash pad was closed for the season, but it looked like a fun place. There is a beautiful golf course for avid golfers and putt putt for those who barely know how to hold a club. I have used the family shelter for events. It has lots of space with a kitchen and hvac.Little Ocmulgee is a beautiful place with lots of family fun. Lots of ppl there on a breezy Saturday afternoon, but it was still quiet and peaceful.
