A large area with trees and sunshine, Can be very dusty and areas with loose small rocks everywhere.Has a separate area for small dogs, but after recent grading to get rid of weeds the normal grassy area has been destroyed resulting in old buried broken glass surfacing, Both areas are maintained by inept Pinole Public works. Anything they “fix” is expected to be more destructive than helpful. Dog owners put up with this anyway.
My puppy loves this park, but on our last visit, he came home with fleas, something none of my pets have ever had. Hopefully, someone will come and spray, especially on the side, for the smaller pups…
Huge dog park. There is a small dogs and large dogs section.Looks decently maintained. I didn’t see trash on the ground. They provide dog bags. People seemed to have their dogs under control. No complaints. Will come back.
I love bringing my 6mo Goldendoodle here. There’s always a good mix of breeds hanging around and for the most part, people do pick up after their dogs and keep an eye on them. It’s a pretty quiet and safe park if you don’t mind the local peacocks walking around. Overall, it’s a great park with two enclosed areas (one for small breeds and one for larger breeds) for your pup to run around in.
2 fenced dog parks, one for smaller and one for larger dogs. both have multiple water bowls and a water faucet. there’s also a human bathroom, I think, though I have never used it
the area can get dusty as dogs sprint around and kick up dust trails.
my dog has always had a great time here, no issues with other dogs.
there is also a picnic area in the shaded grove nearby with water fountain for humans, bbq grill boxes, and picnic tables.
