Great place to bring your furry friends . Knot for the indoor couch puppies with soft paws … Lots of room for big dogs to play and restle and tumble . Pee stones and wood chips abound . Poop bags on sight , if you did not bring one . Clean and fenced and surrounded by woods and water and is very beautiful scenery..

There was a bunch of trash on the ground. I would have picked it up, but unfortunately, no receptacles. It would be nice if there were swings for kids under 2. Other than that, we had a good time visiting the playground.

Grew dog park with separate spaces for large and small dogs. Water available. Park also hosts pickup ultimate Frisbee games on Monday nights and sports offered through the hartford parks and rec department.

For what it is and its proximity to the highway, this is a great small to medium sized dog park. Half shaded and half sunny gravel field with lots of dogs running and playing. Lots of benches and picnic tables. Nice breeze from the river.
