It is a nice park. A lot to do within an hour or so. Occasionally someone will let their dog run until reminded of the rules. Campers are friendly for the most part.
Was a host here for a few years and for the most part, we love volunteering. The county crew are great and 99% of the people who camp here are fantastic for the most part. Only had a few complaints about other campers.

Restrooms were clean but that’s about all. Camp host is always in your business and can be confrontational. No garbage, also no garbage if you rent the shelter. Hope for a better year next year if there is different host.

Stayed here for one night. 50 amps on all sites. Clean shower and bathrooms. No dump station and lots of mosquitos.

Great place to get away! Family friendly campground. Quiet and peaceful. Camp hosts are just the best!! Bathroom/shower house is the cleanest I’ve ever come across. Kids always have a blast and they learn so much. Listen for the different owls and woodpeckers are such a beautiful sight to see!
