Great place for all age kids. They have things for small kids, up to teenagers just wanting to hang out. There is a very nice dog park that’s clean and filled with friendly dogs. They have events and live music. The park is always clean and well maintained. The walking path is long enough to get a good run or bike ride in. Overall, great park. Wish it was closer and it would be my everyday park.
We had our wedding at Switchyard Park, and it was better than we could have ever imagined. I’m not underselling it in the slightest when I say it was the best day of both of our lives! Hsiung’s and Glen’s communication and flexibility from the early days of planning, leading up to wedding was fantastic. They were super helpful, clearly communicated everything we needed to know, and checked-in with us throughout everything.
Additionally, the staff day-of went above and beyond helping us set up and tear down, always offering a helping hand, and problem solving with us! Everything went so smoothly because of their help.
We used the main stage and the pavilion for our ceremony and reception, respectively, and both spaces were stunning! We were able to fit 140 people comfortably with room to dance, eat, etc. We received so many compliments on our entire event. We do not have enough nice things to say about Switchyard Park, and we will forever be recommending people use it for their future events as well.
This park is absolutely wonderful. It’s expansive, with so many different inclusive and sensory-friendly recreation areas. I love the skatepark and the splash pad. The stage with its free concerts is a total vibe. The dog park, in my opinion, is second to none. So much space and a really wonderful set up. My favorite thing is being able to take the trail all the way from my home down in Clear Creek to downtown and beyond. I can’t say enough nice things about Switchyard Park!
The vibe is a little sketchy after dark, so keep that in mind!
Really cool park. I enjoyed the layout and the fact that there is a trail stretching all the way to downtown for cyclists and pedestrians is just an added perk.
This place has so many areas that cater to various hobbies; basketball, skateboarding, working out, community garden and so forth. Plus an extensive spot to take your dog off-leash.
Excellent place to play from little crawlers to elementary age. My kids love to run back and forth from the splashpad to the playground. I enjoy the natural landscape of the playground. A true paradise for summer fun. There are also several shaded shelters with picnic tables.
