Located at 4300 N Stone Mill Rd, Ferguson Dog Park is a favorite spot for local dog owners in Bloomington, Indiana. This spacious dog park offers multiple large, fenced areas for dogs of all sizes to run and play off-leash, making it easy for your furry friend to socialize and burn off energy. The park features three separate runs: one for large dogs, one for small dogs, and a third versatile area that’s perfect for training or introducing reactive dogs to play at their own pace. The community here is friendly, and there’s plenty of space for both owners and pups to enjoy!
Known for its well-maintained grassy fields, Ferguson Dog Park offers amenities including picnic tables, water spigots, a dog rinse area, and close parking. Dog owners will appreciate the waste bag stations at the entrance and the shelter and shade available throughout the park. With wheelchair-accessible entrances and parking, it’s easy for everyone to join in the fun. Bring your own water bowl for your pup and enjoy the vast, welcoming space designed for Bloomington’s canine companions.
I really enjoy bringing my dog here! Most people clean up after their dogs. But not all! Generally waste bags are available at the entrance. There are water spigots and a dog rinse area. Both the large and small dog fenced areas have their own gates and the grass is always mowed. People are friendly, parking is very close and there are always other dogs to run with.
Awesome park tons of space just be careful around the fence if your dog likes to sneak under fences there’s a few spots that get low when it rains
We love going here!!! There are three runs- one very large run (well over an acre, maybe two or even more) for large dogs, another large-ish run for small dogs and a third run you can use if you’re training or have a dog who loves the park but who is sometimes reactive. It’s well maintained, but bring your own water bowl if you have smaller dogs or don’t want your dogs drinking half water half slobber. They even have TWO little bathing areas, and they do have a water fountain outside the fence near the parking lot but all the water is turned off in the winter. The grass is well maintained and people do an okay job picking up after their dogs though I’ve come home with stinky surprises on my shoes more than once. Overall a great park.
Excellent place to bring the baby to play. Marnie loved meeting all the different dogs and people. She had so much room to run.
This dog park is awesome! Everyone here is super friendly, there are three different areas one for small, large, and another area with some logs for the dogs to climb. I use to take my pup here all the time until we moved away.
