What a unique and cool find! We were searching for dog friendly hangouts and I’m so happy we found Barkin Barley! Not only does this place have a wonderful selection of CT beers and ciders as well as Prosecco and wine, but it has a welcoming and cozy atmosphere that is not only dog friendly but dog obsessed! Husband had a flight and enjoyed every one and I enjoyed a delicious local cider! We ordered food in and it was the perfect Sunday afternoon! We will definitely be back!
We love this place! The beer selection is amazing and they have a lot planned to keep improving. Everyone was super friendly and the dogs love it too. Bailey even tried the “dog beer” and he couldn’t stop licking the bowl even after it was all gone. Can’t wait to spend more time here!
Met some family members there for drinks and was pleasantly surprised about their wide selection of local crafts. Loved the sour on tap! All of the dogs where well behaved and adorable. The food trucks where delicious and a welcomed addition to an all around good time. Would definitely recommend taking time to check this new place out!
Opening weekend was great! They did an amazing job with the design of the indoor and outdoor spaces. The seating is comfortable and diverse. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. We got a flight and all the beers were great.
Make sure to sign up for updates and the mug club. The food looked good, it was BBQ. They didn’t have any chicken or non-red meat options.
Give this place a try, even if you don’t drink beer, you can bring your dogs.
