Okay, easy short loop trails with picnic tables near the pond which is inside of the former horse race track. Camping is allowed with permission. Be careful where you step seems the owners don’t pick up after their pets which on occasion will not be on a leash.

Awesome park. The dog park looked well maintained and our dog had a great time. The trails are really nice, and the main paths were snowplowed, which is quite the surprise. Beautiful lake in the middle as well. Path was well used so I imagine this park can get busy, but luckily there is a trashcan on the main loop.

Nice, clean, trails with a very large park so you don’t have to be worried about social distancing yourself from others. There was no liter, and trash bins stationed throughout the park so you didn’t have to hold on to any garbage. There were picnic tables, so if you wanted you could enjoy a nice lunch next to Stenger’s beautiful pond.

Stenger’s Farm has been a wonderful open space in the center of Waterford for we’ll over fifty year. As kids, it was a play area where you could fish, ride bikes, play ball, etc. Fortunately, it remains an open space with trails for hiking. There’s also a dog park to let your dog play. It’s great in this day if development that they left this area alone for people to enjoy.

This park is located across from Clark Lane Middle School. The biggest feature is the dog park. There are two enclosures here- one for large dogs and one for smaller dogs. Both enclosures are spacious. The dog park has double gates. You enter the outer gate and the gates to both enclosures are accessed through two other gates. This allows you to take you dog off leash before entering the enclosures.
