🐾 Kids at the Dog Park: Real Stories, Safety Risks & Smarter Solutions
If you’ve spent time at an off-leash park, you’ve probably seen it:A parent strolls in with a stroller 🚼 or […]
Perryville Dog Park offers dog owners a spacious and securely fenced environment for pets to run and play off-leash. Conveniently located at 1111 S Kingshighway St, this dog park provides separate areas for small and large dogs, making it ideal for all breeds to socialize safely. The grounds are well maintained, providing agility equipment and obstacles for extra fun and exercise.
This pet-friendly spot in Perryville is wheelchair accessible, features picnic tables, access to water for dogs, and a public restroom for owner convenience. The open layout makes it easy to supervise your dog while also enjoying nearby amenities such as barbecue grills, kids’ activities, and pet-friendly trails. It’s a welcoming spot for families and their four-legged friends to enjoy some time outdoors, especially if you don’t have a fenced yard at home.
It’s free and somewhere to be if you don’t have Anywhere else to go with your dog or your dog isn’t. Good listener And runs away often and you don’t have a fenced in yard…. It is a little lacking but Perryville isn’t like a big city so it’s always empty but I like the idea and as the city does grow hopefully so will this park
Great dog park with a small and large dog section. Perfect for socialization of the doggies and the humans. Offers water, agility and exploration obstacles, and tons of room to run. Located in a former baseball field.
My husband and I recently adopted a 70 lb., 8 month old puppy from the Human Shelter. As we do not have a fenced-in yard, and we live along a State Highway, he can not be let outside without a lease. Our solution is to visit the dog park.
I appreciate the Parks and Recreation Committee putting this up for the community with our four-legged pets. It is spacious, has obstacles for training, and plays. There is a large built-in container with a water pump. Very well planned, and we are very fortunate to have them.
What an awesome idea!! My little Yorkie absolutely loves it here!! 💕 We bring her here as often as we can! My 7 yr old daughter loves it just as much haha! I really like the fact that there’s 2 separate areas too! One for little dogs and one for big dogs. Genius idea!!
It is a bit difficult to get to. There is no shade and only 1 picnic table (per area, small and large dog areas).
However, it is a great area to let your pups get some energy out. It is a large area; completely, securely fenced in. It is well taken care of and maintained.
