It’s a small park but they play basketball there sometimes. Very peaceful and quiet. Nowhere to sit outside of your car though. Not many people usually. Great spot to pull over and reply to text messages, lol.

This used to be a nice place until the trash from the area started hanging out drinking amd doing drugs. If you decide to chance this park watch out for used needles and crackheads.

Patuxent History

I plan on visiting this park soon . There was a ferry crossing the river at this location from early 1700’s to the 1850’s (Mount Pleasant Ferry ) . I found an old map showing there was a store near the river , along the ferry road .
