Such a beautiful place! I was pleasantly surprised how lovely and large an area. Great trails.
What you would expect, a trail surrounding a large lake. The lake is larger than I thought and the trail larger. Bridges allow people to cross over the lake and get photos. There’s several decks to view the lake or fish and a lookout area. Benches surround the lake. Swimming, skating, and boating are prohibited. Most people walk, bike, or walk dogs. Crickets were chirping in November. One unique thing about this park is that a rail line is right next to it and Metro trains routinely pass by, be prepared to see lots of trains. Also with College Park airport close airplanes occasionally fly over.
A wonderful place for jogging, walking and pets. Just be careful in the evening as not all trails have lights .
