This place is amazing for romantic walks, dog walks, casual strolls, and bird watching. Through the year there are 3k. 5k, and 10k races run.
Wonderful place to spend time!!
It was a bit cold but the grounds were taken care of, lots of people playing and enjoying the outdoors. Great outdoor space with walkable trails
Buddy Attick Lake Park is a peaceful and scenic spot that’s perfect for a relaxing day outdoors. The walking trail around the lake offers beautiful views, and the park has plenty of space for picnics, playground fun, and light outdoor activities. It’s clean, family-friendly, and a great place to enjoy nature. Whether you’re out for a stroll or just looking to unwind, it’s a nice local escape.
Great place for that morning walk you planned multiple times but somehow couldn’t do. Calm, serene, you get to commune with nature. Hit the trail around 6.30 am and most likely you have the entire lake perimeter to yourself, barring the occasional birds and deer.
City of Greenbelt’s Fourth of July at Buddy Attick Lake is delightful! Parking can be a little challenging if you arrive late. But the fireworks show is terrific and the kids make it more fun. Come earlier for Art in the Park and there are food vendors. No alcohol.
