nice park tucked away in galena along the bike path. it has two play areas one for little ones and a huge two story set for bigger kids. lots of fun for everyone and never very crowded. swings a gazebo and picnic tables too. there is only a port a john but it was kept clean the few times we had to use it.
Very nice park with lots of playground activities.
My daughter really enjoys visiting this park so I took her out on one of the warmer late February days and found that the slide had a hole in the bottom that could potentially injure children who used it.
Luckily there was a sign with a phone number to call to report any issues. In the automated voicemail tree there was no option for Parks maintenance so I left a message with the trail maintenance person and asked them to forward the broken slide report to the appropriate people.
Even though I left my name and phone number if they had any questions no one called me back.
In summary while I would rate the park to be about average the customer service involved in the Parks upkeep is subpar. One way to remedy this might be including an email address or QR code on the sign to make it easier for people with mobile devices to report issues.
