Rocky Fork Dog Park is a well-loved spot for pet owners in Westerville, offering a friendly environment for dogs and their people. This park features several distinct fenced areas, including separate sections for small and large dogs and an additional, lesser-known enclosure in the back for dogs needing space from others. The park is kept tidy and provides both sun and plenty of shade, making it comfortable throughout the day.
Among its amenities, Rocky Fork Dog Park supplies a clean water fountain for dogs, picnic tables for humans, and public restrooms. The dog park is wheelchair accessible—including accessible entrances and parking lots—so everyone can enjoy the space. With nearby hiking trails, pet-friendly adventures abound, and the park’s location in Westerville makes it a convenient, dog-friendly destination just outside Columbus.
Small, frequently closed. Alum Creek is far larger, more likely to have other dogs there, and has the water dog park as a bonus.
I really wish the off leash dog area was larger, but it’s still kinda fun. WAY too many people and dogs for me today at 900 in the morning…but always a nice park.
We love this dog park. There is a nice area for small dogs and inside for large dogs. There is also another dog are in the back. This is a clean park and my dog love it. There is a fountain with clean water for the dogs as well.
Nice dog park different options small walking trails a water feature public restrooms, plenty of shade or sun very tidy very clean
My favorite dog park. They have three parks the third is my favorite because it’s more for horses really. It’s in the back of the park and no one is ever there. My dog is super reactive now because when he was a year old he got attacked by a dog at the bark park that wasn’t trained at all, his owner did nothing to stop it, I had to physically protect my dog and fight this dog off. So he is understandably NOT comfortable with other dogs. So I take him back to the empty park in the back so he can flat out run. He loves it! I love it!
