Excellent park. Large areas for both small and large dogs. Plenty of poop bags available with trash cans. If you visit please clean up after your pooch. No food or beverages allowed other than the dogs water. Residents and neighbours are very friendly. If you looking to take a hike, plenty of trails nearby. As for National Monument area, no hiking permitted with dog unless service animal. Hope this helps. I live in Appleton one town east of here. Canyon park is also an excellent dog park, three areas: small pups/ larger pups / larger dogs who like to swim. There’s a pond there. Great for summer time not so great in winter

Decent size park. They have one for smaller dogs that’s separate from the bigger park. We were the only ones there both times we used it.
It sits beside the parking lot for the dinosaur museum so I think it gets missed easily.

We take our dog here nearly every day and she loves it! There are two separate fenced areas for small dogs and large dogs. The large dog area has some terrain features. There are water fountains for dogs and people in a separate gated area. Thanks Fruita!

Loved this dog park. Two areas to choose from. Big dogs and small dogs. East access in between to switch from one to the other. Met some wonderful locals with friendly dogs and even got a great dinner recommendation to try Base Camp Provisions which was close by. Everyone in the group was happy and satisfied by the recommendation. The big dog park only had a minimal amount of fox tails growing so my little fluff was happy. The small dog area I don’t believe had any that I saw.

Great spot for the dogs to stretch and run around and super convenient for travelers as it’s right off I70. The large dog area provided enough space for our two dogs to run around before the next leg of our trip. We visited during late June around 2pm and the temperature was hot, the area has trees providing shade but no escaping the heat–BRING WATER!

Located next to dinosaur museum and even if you don’t go inside they have cool sculptures and mural visible from the parking lot.
