There is everything for a good holiday with children and pets. There are three pavilions, a playground for children is equipped. There is a place for grilling at the creek.

It was beautiful!. Lots of ants. Lol
But it was quiet and, was calming once we found an open spot by a creek with a cool beaver dam .. (see if u can spot it in the video?🧐) Lots and lots of different trails for hiking, biking, , 4×4 areas. It has lots of variety of Outdoor fun . Oh ! , IT HAS FRISBEE GOLF TOO! Looks newly put in.. It has fire pits for cooking. Pavillions. It straight up is pretty neat place to visit..😎**Worth the gas and drive. It’s definitely a must see during your travels/sight-seeing photographers could go nuts depending on your interests..

Beautiful and scenic park for the kids and adults. There’s a gazebo with benches and charcoal grills overlooking the kids park. A perfect family picnic spot in the summer.
There are open camping spots nearby with firepits, and a beautiful stream meandering through the entire park.

I moved to Rye last March. My downstairs neighbor told me about the park only a mile from home. I was thinking small city town park. It’s actually a heavily wooded large park area with the beautiful Greenhorn creek running through. There is a frisbee golf course. By the look of the first tee(pictured) it’s a great place to hone your technical skills. Plenty of bathrooms, three pavilions and many nice picnic areas with grills spread throughout. Tons of trails to explore by foot and Jeep as well.

Not exactly the most accessible park. You have to drive through a sort of residential area (going up the mountain). The road is not paved, and it has very narrow areas. If driving there after snow or rain; be extra careful!
Now the park itself is beautiful & amazing. Easy trail to follow, beginners level. It felt like a nice walk. At the top of the Green Horn, the view of the valley is gorgeous.
Parking is small. Horses allowed.
