Great lake for bass fishing. Lot of improvements in 2022/2023. Boats with trolling motor only. Pets allowed on leash. Two docks for fishing . New bridge that allows boats canoes or kayaks access to both sides of the lake. Handicap parking. Nice boat ramps. Archery range, also open for hunting seasonal. Overall nice well maintained outdoor recreation area.

Beautiful location. Barely anyone was there. I’ll definitely be back with my kayak. Boat launch. Walkway through the middle.

Very peaceful and tranquil. Saw several birds, including an Osprey, Pheasant, and a Belted Kingfisher. Nice level, paved walking path between the entrances, with piers. Take your own chairs and trash bag if you want to hang out because there are no benches or trash cans. There is a port-a-pot for a restroom at one entrance. We got there late in the day and did not explore the dam area.

Great place to have a picnic. Beautiful flowers, numerous birds and many people were fishing.

First time going here. This place was awesome. Massive lakes. Can take boats and kayaks but can only run the motors on them at a slow pace. Tons of spots for fishing. Places in my area are always super over fished. Not this place. Will forsure make this my designated fishing spot. It’s 45 minutes from where I live but well worth the trip! Can’t wait to get back. Small mouth bass all over this massive lake.
