Nice 1.4 mile trail, they offer an unpaved trail to the quarry, and they do a have paved trail that does connect to the towpath and bike trail.
It’s not a difficult trekking path, although it does have a couple of good 25 grades inclines.
Definitely wear a good pair of hikers or trek sandals and grab your poles.
They do offer wheelchair accessible parking and paved trail.
They also offer out house facilities.
Nice legend at the beginning of trail, and along the way, they have markers for information about the quarry.
They offer picnic tables, and along the trek, they offer benches for a peaceful relaxation period.
If you bring your doggo, be mindful and pick up after them and keep them leashed.

Beautiful Nature Scenery with lots to see. I went on a Tuesday afternoon in the fall and it was packed, so it’s probably really packed at peak hours fyi.

Parking is ample, there is a restroom. The trails are marked to the quarry, trek through great shade most of the time. The paths are rocky and coated with moss so be careful with footing. Overall very nice side shoot from the towpath lock 69.

Neat park with some pretty great trails. Easy enough for any skill level to tackle. The random bits of equipment that were left behind, like the millstones, was interesting. The info signs give a nice amount of information and are worth reading. Worth checking out if you are in the area.
