Earlywine Park is a beloved multi-use park in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, offering an ideal mix of activities and amenities for dog owners, families, and outdoor enthusiasts. This pet-friendly destination features well-kept grassy spaces, extensive paved walking and jogging paths (dog-friendly, though not for bicycles), and plenty of shaded areas, making it perfect for leisurely dog walks or energetic play.
In addition to its dog-friendly areas, the park boasts picnic tables, barbecue grills, a playground, athletic fields, sports courts, and public restrooms. The walking trail is clearly marked with distance indicators, features fitness stations, and is surrounded by mature shade trees. There’s ample space for dogs to explore on-leash.
What sets Earlywine Park apart is the broad range of amenities and clean grounds, combined with plenty of space for pets and kids to exercise. While the park is generally accessible and great for morning walks, some concerns exist about the practicality of old wheelchair ramps, so visitors needing accessible paths should plan accordingly. The park opens early (5 am) and is a fantastic spot for dog owners looking for a “dog-friendly park in Oklahoma City” with lots of extras.
Nice park with a paved walking / jogging path (no bicycles, but dogs are allowed) which indicates the distance you’ve gone. has a nice playground area, lots of shade trees, a picnic shelter. The downside is that there aren’t any cut through paths to get off the path when you’re ready. If you don’t want to go the whole 1.5 miles, you have to cut through the grass. The grounds are well cared for. Great for a morning walk! Park opens at 5 am. Also, includes workout stations along the path. Additionally, there’s a very nice public swimming pool and a YMCA on the grounds too. Overall, the perfect place for the whole family.
Woah.. I’ve got to update this review after seeing this. I can’t believe it. Please see photo included of what is supposed to be a “wheelchair accessible” ramp that doesn’t lead to an kind of paved path. What is wrong with you people? How is this helpful to anyone who relies on a wheelchair / scooter to get around? I know the answer, it is NOT! Shame on you. Seriously, this makes me sick. I don’t even know anyone who relies on a wheelchair, but I’m still aware of the many accessibility issues this city has. It’s embarrassing and WRONG!
Great prices for non members and all sports play. Great area and well kept being clean and orderly, but the swimming area isn’t big and usually has long waits to get in due to high volume of demand vs square foot this place operates. Very fun all around, must be willing to arrive 1 hr to 30minutes in advance in order to get in when opens.
I love this place, to get away from the routine it is a very good option and the staff is very good.
The fields are actually kept very clean and the grass is also nice. Its great for practicing softball and theres lots of room for soccer. Definitely one of the better areas to bring pets and play.
Love coming here with my kids. There’s things for kids of all ages and they offer summer passes for the family. Both my toddler and preteen love coming here and staff are pretty friendly. Have been coming here for years and never have had an issue with the staff, facility, or pool.
