(8/8/25) Beautiful trail including open fields and lots of hiking along the shoreline of the Back River. Large parking lot fits about 20 cars. Zero crowds upon arrival. Perfect summer weather. Trails are easy to follow. No public restrooms here.

A beautiful set of trails that end at Chewonki campgrounds and nature center. The field loop is still a little on the wet side. A beautiful place to take your children or pets to stretch and get some exercise
