MY lunch spot where you can always meet me for picnic 🧺 + Beautiful forest walk
I love this park! It has all of the things you could want! It has what, water, prairie and much more!
In the proper seasons, you can hear the bird calls and sounds. You feel like you are in the woods along a boardwalk trail with some parts that are dirt/grassy.
This park also has a shelter and BBQ grills. The parking lot is far enough from the road that you don’t feel like you are sitting next to the road or maybe you can even pretend it is not there.
Had my daughters Baby Shower there on 7-9-2022 and it was absolutely beautiful!!! Pavilion was a perfect size for our group. The grass area was Huge for all the kids to play and have fun. Would definitely use this place again. Only issue was not being able to tape or tack decorations on the pavilion.
Nice little trail that is secluded. Almost the entire trail is boarded which will keep your feet clean. Nice grassy area for dogs to run or kids to play. Close to a major road so the entire trail is tainted a bit by noise. Not a difficult trail at all. Great for a lunch break walk.
