Really nice park! I was here at 4pm on a weekday and only 1 other car was in the parking lot.It can be a bit of a maze at times. I use the geocaching app and On X app which shows the trails so I could navigate.In the Nature center you can get a copy of the map and also there’s signage of the map but even with that I was confused as to where I was some of the time so I’d refer to my apps. They do have colored triangles on the trees corresponding to the trails, but there are other offshoot trails.I wish I had more time to explore this nice park!
Very nice park trails very well maintained .easy hike very family friendly all ages .nice sculptures along the trails. Very well marked .nice nature center has bathrooms . Easy parking .NO DOGS or BIKES .
It was an easy hike and the art plus the scenic view was worth the time
Nice place to spend a few hours hiking. There is an art trail, made in honor of a young person who loved art and the woods. It was icy still the day I went there, just had to be careful in shady areas where the sun was scarce. Very peaceful, there were places here and there to sit and watch the water run by. Loved being out in the fresh air for awhile. They also have a vehicle that can be reserved for people with mobility problems. I’ll post a picture of it here. I was happy to see that! Staff was so friendly and helpful.
600 acres and so much to offer, we barely tapped the tip of the ice berg here. Exploring the grounds you’ll discover secret little trails and random pieces of whimsical art, birds, bugs, and different biomes. We stopped on a road trip and were delighted we did!
