FAQ for Fay M Clark Memorial Park in Hiawatha Iowa:
This is a great little park with a paved walking trail, playground, pavillion and a disc golf course that is excellent for beginners. Easily on of my favorite parks.
I was recently introduced to disc golf while on vacation. I got a few discs and tried playing a round. Park was in great condition. Water hazards & trees were minimal. Had fun & somehow managed to stick a disc in the ground.
Great easy going disc golf course. Lovely playground area with a small picnic shelter and restrooms nearby. There is a long walking path with small sheltered seating as well that circles throughout the disc golf course. Hole 1 starts at the enterences of the park lot and 18 ends at the other end of the lot by the park shelter.
When my kids were younger they enjoyed the playground. Now we enjoy Frisbee golf and the walking trail. The Frisbee golf course is nothing fancy, but it suits our skill level just fine. It’s rarely too crowded.
Nice and new looking the upkeep was okay but the grass could have been mowed better on the disk golf course. There is a beautiful walking trail around the parameter of the park.
