Beautiful park and trails to the lake, but the further in you go North the worse it gets. Trails are overgrown, downed trees across the paths, graffiti on the 2nd silo (the one without a security camera on it).Walking the path south to the lake and nature area is better kept.

Manitowoc county park. Fischer creek flows into lake Michigan. Nice swimming beach. Picnic area overlooking the lake. Very limited parking.

Great place to visit the lake without crowds. Went over the 4th of July weekend and it was probably as busy as it ever gets and still had plenty of space along the beach. Trails north of the northern most parking lot need some maintenance and were overgrown in spots.

Except for the uninviting notice that you’re constantly being monitored by cameras. This is a very nice little Park. All along the shore of lake Michigan, the wave slowly eat into the dunes that the bigger lake Left behind 10,000 years ago?
