This park has a turf soccer field plus grass, and concrete as well. Great place to train a soccer field, they have a wooden wall for shot practice too. Every time I’m there to see my husband play soccer with his friends or my oldest son for a game, my youngest is never bored, as they had a full playground with two set, one for small kids and one for the bigger ones. This place also has a bathroom (not the portable ones) and a concession stand. The gazebo is great to take pics as they have a nice view of the sunset on any given clear day.
This area was very nice for an Easter egg hunt. I thought it was really kind of the Harrison Township police department to arrange this event for the children. I had a hard time finding any kind of Easter egg hunts last year, and there were very few this year. It was nice to have something to look forward to with the kids. They also are having movie night in the park in May 2024. If you have a family and are looking for fun things to do at low cost, check out, this sports complex.
Awesome soccer and rec complex featuring 13 fields of various sizes, from small-sided recreational to the regulation size, fully lit turf and grass fields. Neat and well-maintained facilities, with the working concessions stand when we were there back in March.
Two great playgrounds for kids (younger and older), and it also has great walking/bike paths. Bathrooms are on site, and there is great lighting at night. My kids love it here!
