FAQ for Greenville Technical College Nature Trail in Simpsonville South Carolina:
This was not a pleasant trail for us. Found none of the scenic path views pictured in other reviews (the ones with bridges, pea gravel paths, etc.). It is about a 5 minute walk through overgrown trails (loaded with ticks and snakes) and trash down to the river. You can hear traffic the whole time. No signage whatsoever. Assuming this was just lost to Helene. Highly recommend skipping this one, unless you’re looking to partake of drugs and/or malt liquor. We won’t be back.
I wish the pregnant lady would remove her “glamour shot.” We want to see the view, not your big belly. Great place!
I wanted a place that was easy access for nature and scenery and I was surprised. A quiet secluded area with nature all around you while enjoying relaxation on the rivers edge. The paths could have been more maintained however the trails are walkable. I was disappointed with how much garbage laid around the area considering it’s right there at Greenville Tech College. Those students should be made to have an arbor day and clean it up. It’s destroying nature as I heard no wildlife. The sound of the waters small rapids however we’re quite charming. Great place to regroup and recharge for the day to day tasks that can be a little tedious at times.
Pretty place to go and decent fishing if you don’t mind getting stuck in a tree or two. 😂 Poison oak everywhere for the people highly allergic to it like I am. But overall nice place to go.
Great little walk, went after the rain so of course it was muddy but easy to get around. Took our grandson who enjoyed the walk. Will definitely return.
