FAQ for Nettles Park in Clemson South Carolina:
I’ve been coming to this park for the trails and the quiet for 4-5 years and the only downsides to this park are this:1. If it rains hard, it’s gonna get flooded2. Be aware that a lot of people like to let their dogs off the leash (especially down trails) and they aren’t all under control. Local dogs from the neighborhoods around occasionally get out as well. None of them vicious, just be aware.
We had a great time in the dog park and walking the path by the pond!
Well maintained lower football pitch, big lights at night. I would recommend upgrading goals though. Preferably add 2 box goals because the current ones are sagging a bit, but Its a public park so I didn’t even expect nets. Decently flat ground with little bobbing even at the worst parts. I didn’t mind the porta potties, just glad there is somewhere to use the restroom.
Love this park has a dog park, tennis courts, multiple baseball fields, big playground, lots of parking and the are building on as we speak.
Our family had a great time at the playground. It was clean and fenced in. It also has a shaded section over the playground and shaded picnic tables which is appreciated on hot days. We walked around to the baseball fields as well. Overall a very nice park.
