Beautiful spot to walk or have a picnic lunch! Plenty of parking and lots of trails to walk, paved and not.
One of the most beautiful places to visit in North Jersey. The water is so clean and fresh. It’s like going to a mountain area in another state out Midwest. People come to lay out and swim, and come hang with their dogs as well. I’ve seen many people with kayaks here and it looks so fun. I’ll definitely be back again, I travel about an hour to get here each time and it’s worth it. They have different parks within the reservoir. Here’s a picture of my uncle and his dog Bear that I took to visit! They loved it!
Best place for kayaking, canoeing and swimming. The water was so clear and the place was really beautiful. I went during November. Summer you would enjoy the view as well as water. The water level near the visitor center is very low for some distance so you even one year kid can enjoy in the water. I would say that it’s the best dipping place for small kids. Near picnic spot there is designated place for swimming with guards on spot. So yay for adults too.
This place is beautiful. There are no rental kayak or boating options, so if you wish to do, bring your own. Camping options are thereSwimming is allowed and water is crystal clear.Overall good place to bring kids and spend all day.
