FAQ for Roaring Rock Park in Washington New Jersey:
Beautiful spot!SUPER steep at points but gorgeous. We went in the fall when the leaves were covering the path and at points it was very slippery. However we loved our visit and will definitely be back.Would recommend for adults (probably too steep for little ones!)
I went on a chilly day so my daughter and I were the only ones there. Very peaceful and I’m looking forward to going back when the weather is warmer. The biggest downside is how the natural beauty has been desecrated by others who felt it was necessary to spray paint the signs and cement. Overall we had a great time and plan on returning.
Omg this place is so beautiful! It’s easy to get to and has very good walking paths but still need to be Careful of where you walk. Some feel inclines but still very good Park to walk around. I LOVE the natural creek and waterfall.
This is more so a review for DICK FLINT TRAIL which is right next to Roaring Rock Park. It may even be a part of it. This is a beautiful place to hike and hammock. Not many people know of it since it is just on the side of the road. I recommend, it’s really peaceful.
This place is so peaceful and a great place to jump into when you need a break from the material world. There are several, nice spots to sit near the stream. Some trail maintenance is needed on the western side for minor shrub overgrowth. I can’t wait to see it as the seasons change.1/10/18: Stopped back for lunch and wanted to share some pictures of this winter wonderland.
