FAQ for Happy Tails Dog Park in Dunedin Florida:
It’s a decent park with lots of room to run. Unfortunately the ground is very uneven and rocky. The dogs were polite but the same can not be said about the owners. They are either talking between each other and ignoring their dogs as you try to enter or they are on speaker phone ignoring their dogs while talking very loudly about thier very opinionated ideas and thoughts. The dog park is a place to play and enjoy your day not to hear about someone’s close mindedness while their dog is hogs other dogs toys. The owners are quick to push your dog away from them when the dogs come up to say hello. It wasn’t a great experience but my dog got to run for a bit and that’s what counts. Needless to say we won’t be back.
Terrible dog owners. Both my dogs were humped and peed on.The playground looked nice but other dog owners of very large dogs used the playground for their unleashed pets, so I was unable to let our kid play. The park is beautiful but the people are aweful.
Plenty of room for dogs to run. A big and small dog area.
We really enjoy taking our pups to this park. The shade is wonderful when it’s sunny. It’s a little tricky to find… like a hidden gem. You’ll have to wind through the road and behind the baseball fields.
It’s not a horrible dog park. It’s a little tricky to find, you have to wind through a base ball park and some racquetball courts to find it. It’s a smaller dog park compared to many I have been to. There are some nice oak trees which provide nice shade, however they need to be trimmed higher because the oaks have killed all the grass around the majority of the fenced area. Pair that with a leaky dog watering area and you have a muddy mess.
