I am so disappointed that my son went from the beautiful little league fields of Taunton to the unkept fields run by parks and rec. It’s embarrassing to watch them play on grass up to their knees this week at Martin School and a half mowed field at the Weir. Our youth deserves better.
I went to the tauton town pool today at the hopewell park I was very dissatisfied I feel the life guards are not friendly at all there was very few that were like maybe a handful was very nice and down to earth other then that they seemed to not be so kid friendly n working in the community with a lot of kids around u would think that would be a little friendly I get they need to do there job but not be so dam grumpy doing it one of the guys told me my son would not be able to come back cuz he cant listen but I think I did more of the talk to my son then they did I watch my son the hole time cuz I know how my son can be and how he needs my full guidance because of him having a disability that make his act out a lot but I could understand if I was not there watching him but I was fully watching my son the entire time they blew there whistles a few time but after I was already over there recommande him I think there should be places that is autism and adhd friendly this is one place I dont reccomend at all ….
Pretty scenery, and well maintained but very noisy. The water treatment plant is a soothing kind of noisy, but when you get onto the trails, all you can hear is the nearby schoolchildren as if they were right there in the trail with you.
Won’t be back there Came across a car deep in the path while walking my golden retriever. When I got closer I saw somebody in the car that seemed passed out and wouldn’t answer to me knocking in the window. I called 911 and walked away, will not be going there again.
They do a great job taking care of the grounds and events that the families use for enjoyment. Also run a lot of additional events for everyone.
