FAQ for Benton Dog Park – Redding in Redding California:
I love how they have two sections one for big dogs and one for small dogs . Only thing is place is so big you need to watch your step because some people don’t pick up after there dogs . We can do better
Great spot for this town and my puppy loves visiting . It is what it is with a dog park you have to just watch the energy of some of the dogs..
My pup enjoys coming here. I enjoy walking laps around the park while she plays and walks with me. It’s a good sized park. I have read the reviews and I agree with the park being named caca park. That’s the only bad thing is watching your step, but you should expect that if you are at a dog park.
Such a nice place. It can be busy depending on the time of day and day of the week. The wife and I just moved up to Redding from Sacramento back in July.Living just less than a mile from the dog park is quiet a nice bonus. Seeing all the water tanker planes and fire fighter equipment for CalFire is pretty cool too. Plenty of water and split for small dogs and big/large dogs.
Mixed bag of some of the nicest dogs and no so nice dogs. Same for the people. So kinda depends on the day. But the breeze is nice and it’s cooler by ten degrees then Redding, so there’s that.
