Great trail if you love Nature like we do! We rented EBikes from PA Wake and Skate in Conneaut Lake and enjoyed a lovely ride!
It’s a nice trail not crowded, some of the trail goes along French Creek. Portable toilets. Look for the Bean trail area . Where I parked there was a small parking area.
Visited with our bikes for the first on 8/27/22. Parked at the Krider Trailhead – limited parking here. Maybe 2 cars plus a handicap spot? Covered pavilion with picnic tables for lunch spot. We rode the entire paved section, along with the connector to Meadville. Beautiful trail, nice scenery. It’s a short ride, maybe 11 miles? But we paired it with the Goddard Multi-Purpose Trail for a nice afternoon.
It was a couple miles of very loose gravel, followed by nicely paved trails through shaded swamps. Lots of mosquitoes. So, don’t ever slow down.
Great simple, easy trail for all ages. The scenery is wonderful passing through different types of landscapes. The paved trail is very well maintained with two access points in the middle (in addition to the beginning & end of the trail). Several places to stop & relax or have a bit to eat you brought with you. The trail is 5 miles one way and does have a few simple back road crossings. Great trail for a quick adult ride or a nice medium ride for a family.
