You’d think we could walk in and look at animals before applying. Nope, wouldn’t let us. What a deterrent from adopting from here. Very sad. Any animal that dies here is due to their policies.

Very rude and make the process of adoption so difficult that I went to another shelter and adopted with no problem. You’d think these people would want people that love animals to adopt. I feel sorry for all the animals at that shelter.
This is some bullshit place.. i call and i say i got a dog i cant have no more .. and the manager tell me whats your reason why u cant have this dog. I was like what other reason i got to give to say i cant have this dog. What im supposed to do? Let it go walking like all the cats that be around in the castle area? I dont wan to put her to sleep reason why i called you guys but because i didnt give a valid excuse they wont be able to take the dog in and i gott o be in a waiting list like im waiting on the restaurant.. if i csnt have a dog i cant have it at least im trying to find a family to give her love the rest of her life since i cant .. but this called manager cant be more contradictive first got to fill up surrender form and be on a waiting list then i ask why you doing all this questions for if you gonna come with this now and her answer was well you havent give me a hood excuse why u cant have her . So i had to give a good excuse of why i cant have my dog so she can take my dog.. so because i didnt give a reasonable excuse she want to put me on a waiting list.
Very helpful. I have been here a few times over the past couple years to make donations. I recently adopted a kitten. If you fill out an application for adoption, follow it up with a phone call or you may not hear back. I missed an opportunity by not following up soon enough. Otherwise no complaints. Everyone is always super helpful and kind. Donate!!
