A group of local churches held a community singing here this last Sunday evening. Five or six different churches participated with members from each church attending. It was held in the parks covered picnic area that had six or eight picnic benches and a restroom facility. One of the churches set up a sound system so the singers in musicians could be heard. NULL to rent the covered picnic area for the day.
Always a great stop for the kids after school. Too large playsets to choose from plus merry-go-round and large slide and swings. Restrooms on premises but are kept locked unless you have made a reservation for a family reunion etc. There are a couple basketball courts here also.
I enjoyed the walking path, but they offer more: tennis court, pool area, public restrooms, and picnic area, just to name a few. It’s a nice place for a family day out. The park was clean and the restroom was well kept.
