FAQ for Diamond Dog in Chino California:
This is the best herding facility in Los Angeles county/Socal. Kathleen is the owner and head trainer. Besides being border collie savvy, she is great teaching handlers with all other herding breeds. There are corgis, cattle dogs, English sheepdog, Belgians, Gsd, aussies, etc that train here. I personally started training here with my Sheltie back in 2020. What was initially an interest to see what potential my dog and I had turned into trialing and eventually getting my own border collie puppy to work. Very very happy with my experiences here!
This place is amazing if you want to teach your dog to herd. Kathleen is an excellent teacher. She’s very patient and has such intuition to know what each dog needs and how to teach them.
A good venue for a small dog show. A bit hot and dusty, but easy to get to, ample parking, and porta-potties on site.
A fantastic training center and ideallic setting to hold any number of dog sporting events! From lure coursing to herding trials this place can get it done!
Great facility for dog events except for all the gophers, LOL. That makes it tough for terriers to concentrate. But it’s a great site.
