FAQ for Paulinskill River Wildlife Management Area in Newton New Jersey:
Lots to do here and this place is very much underrated and under the radar in my opinion. Great trails for walking and biking, as well as the Paulinskill Lake and Paulinskill River to explore for kayaking and fishing. Keep in mind they are both pretty shallow, and you need to be mindful of submerged stumps. Hadn’t had much luck fishing here but both are loaded with carp.
So much to explore here. My new favorite place to hike.
Lovely trail, perfect for biking or with your dog.
You can ride the Paulinskill Valley Trail from Warbasse Junction to Blairstown and beyond. I haven’t tried the Great Valley Trail loop yet.
