It’s a parking lot. It’s literally right across the road from the waterfall but the road getting in is quite rough. Take it slow and watch out for the potholes in the shaded areas.

Don’t trust GPS. We tried to get to the parking area and it brought us down a bunch of dead end closed roads and bridges as of 5/29/2025. Roads were narrow and there is no reception.

The falls are beautiful and right across from the parking lot. No hiking required to see the falls. Just a dependable vehicle to get down the road, which has lots of ruts and deep holes. The hike itself is steep and vigorous. I wouldn’t say you need to be in the best shape to do this hike, but you would benefit from having appropriate footwear. The steep grade makes sliding very easy. This is an in and out trial, so just as steep as you are going up, you’re faced with the challenge of coming back down. There is no spectacular view from the top. Its blocked by trees and drop offs. This trail connects to a loop trail. However that would turn out to be a full day hike.
