Rustic setting with 150 year old eucalyptus trees dominating landscape. Some structures are over 100 years old. Multiple amenities for such a small park and pleasant, safe place for kids to run around or have a cozy picnic.

This is a lovely community park with a relaxed, family-friendly vibe. It was filled with families enjoying the day, kids playing, people eating, and everyone just soaking in the good weather. The park has a charming creek running through it, which was a hit with the kids. My little one especially had a blast at the playground! The only downside was the number of people letting their dogs roam off-leash. I had a Chihuahua approach me, acting a bit territorial, and the owner was nowhere to be seen for a while. While I’m fine with it as an adult, I could see how this could be a concern, especially if you have a young child or if the dog was larger. It’s something to keep in mind if you’re visiting with little ones or prefer a more controlled environment for pets. One other thing to note is that the toddler swings are absurdly high.

I’d love this park more if I didn’t have to worry about an off leash dog trying to greet my toddler or become possessive of the spilled cheetos on the ground. This is clearly a child park, not a dog park! If you want to meet up with friends with dogs, plan a Sniffspot.I own 3 dogs, whom I train and compete with. It grinds my gears to see other dog owners being so disrespectful of the posted leash signs all over the park. This is how you ruin it for the rest of us.

Lots of room for kids to play and explore. Plenty of grassy area to play ball or frisbee. There were several dogs that people had off leash, don’t know if that’s the norm but they all seemed to get along.

It’s a nice big park with 2 playgrounds for small children. The entrance is hard to see so make sure to slow down when following GPS. The main parking has about 30 spots and upper parking has about 8. There’s a restroom uphill. It can be a little muddy after the rain. The shade from all the eucalyptus trees here is really nice. Definitely worth visiting.
