SA beautiful, serene park! The Pavilion is wonderful! Two suggestions:A restroom for the elderly and disabled should be closer to the Pavilion building. Also, there was a sign in the restroom saying not to use paper towels for toilet paper. The problem is the toilet paper is so thin, it does not roll without breaking!! Unusable toilet paper!!!
This is pretty much how a great park should be. The county should be very proud of this. Only thing I could say that is negative would be that the bathhouses need a little work. This park has pretty much everything and great gym equipment right alone the walking path. One of the best.
This is my most favorite county park in all of San Diego. Perfect venue for weddings, faires, and all sorts of outdoor events. The Ranger is super helpful and knowledgeable about his location. It’s located about 45 minutes from Rancho San Diego through Jamul and Dulzura. There’s hiking trails, spots for RV camping and tent camping.
We did a camping trip with friends. Had a wonderful time! The park was fun and had great exercise equipment. Lots of squirrel holes all over, take flashlights at night. We did a bit of glamping with luxury amenities, all having a good time. We will definitely go back!
