Sir Tobies’ Perspective:We arrived in our royal carriage (a Ford Freestar) to a place I can only describe as… doggy Nirvana. As soon as my human cracked the door, I leapt into destiny. The scent? Pure freedom. Grassy notes, faint trucker cologne, and the lingering echo of 47 butts previously sniffed. Magnificent. The gates opened like the kingdom of Heaven. No leash. No rules. Just squirrels I wasn’t allowed to chase and one overly optimistic golden retriever named Gary who tried to sniff me through the bars. I snapped, of course. I am only six pounds, Gary. Know your place. But the real gem? The fire hydrant. Red. Regal. Untouched. I claimed it immediately. No other beast dared challenge my mark.Princess Beanie’s Perspective:OH MY SNACKS. It was the BEST DAY EVER. I zoomied. I twirled. I barked at a butterfly and maybe a cloud. There was a big water bowl with ACTUAL water in it (and not that weird metal taste like home). I sat on the picnic table like the queen I am while Sir Tobie postured and glared at the wind. The humans were nice. One gave me a belly rub. Another said I was “precious.” Obviously. I wore my pink tutu and several large dogs stopped to admire me. A husky tried to flirt. I told him I don’t date outside my weight class. We peed on everything.Shared Final Thoughts:Love’s Dog Park? 10 out of 10 tail wags. No scary dogs (except Gary), lots of space to rule over, and soft ground that doesn’t hurt our tiny diva paws. Our humans looked happy, too—drinking coffee and pretending we’re not spoiled. We left windblown, triumphant, and full of pride.Would return. Would reign again.Sincerely,Sir Tobie, First of His Name& Princess Beanie of the Barkshire Line
