Dropped off a German Shepherd that is always a bit anxious for new places. The groomer was confident and professional. Picked her up a bit early, as they finished early. She looked amazing and the groomer and our dog quickly became friends. I think her name was Anosha (but I forget names fast). Thanks!

We have taken our dog here ever sense our old boarding place closed. They have a very friendly staff and will accommodate you bring a blanket or small bed for your pet, refrigerate your dogs food, etc. It is also great that your dog can run around and play with other dogs staying there. They also only require very basic vaccines for your dog. Some places nowadays are so crazy they require your dog to have a FLU SHOT every year. Who has ever seen a dog with the flu? I would reccomend this place to anyone in the Lincoln area. It is a little pricey and there is a chance your dog with have a few sore spots from rough housing with the other dogs, but I have yet to find a better spot in Lincoln.

Drove from Omaha to take my dog swimming for the first time a couple of months ago. Our appt was at 2pm. We arrived on time but as soon as we got there, we were told that another staff member had let someone else use the pool right before we got there, even though their appt was at 3pm. We were told we would have to wait for an hour until they were finished. Completely unacceptable. There seemed to be zero communication between staff. They did allow us to use their indoor play area while we waited, but it was still extremely upsetting and did not make up for their huge mistake. My dog did enjoy playing inside but the place was absolutely filthy and run down. Once we finally got into the pool area, it was disgusting, dingy, and dark. They did not clean anything in-between appointments. I would rather have waited an extra 10 minutes to have them take the time to tidy up and sanitize. With that being said, I love the concept but would not recommend, nor come back for another visit. Please clean this place up a bit, especially the pool area in between uses. It would be great if the staff comminicated, were welcoming and friendly, and kept it clean & sanitized.

This was an wildly positive experience! I have a 7 month old Vizsla who has not yet been exposed to open water as it has been far too cold. She has recently been avoiding puddles even though we worked on her getting feet wet in the tub when she was a puppy. I was trying to find options and stumbled across their page. I live in Papillion and thought it would be worth the drive to Lincoln to have e a hunting dog who liked water. It is a located in a strip mall near 44th and O in Lincoln. The front desk staff was lovely. I did have to provide vaccination verification before entry. I paid 53 dollars for a hour of private pool time. The pool was about 15×25 ish feet and 3 feet deep with steps to enter. They had two chairs, some tennis balls, old dog towells and various sized of dog life vests. I am so glad we did it. She was really not wanting to get her feet wet and after the hour was up, I had a hard time getting her out of the water. We did transition from the life vest to swimming solo during our session but she was not remotely interested in jumpimg from the side. It is a huge relief to know she can now swim strongly. There was a bathroom where I could change in and out of my swimsuit. I will definitely be going back, and hopefully my young dog will transition to open water when it warms up.

I can’t say enough good things about Paws for Fun and the incredible team there. As someone who has been navigating being homeless while searching for an apartment after eviction due to a domestic violence situation with both a dog and a cat, (and 3 teenage boys) they have truly been lifesavers. They’ve gone above and beyond for my animals, offering a safe and loving environment when I couldn’t afford pet deposits at hotels or couldn’t bring them with me. My pets are my family and the thought of having to surrender them to a shelter was too unbearable. They stepped up.Unlike other places that might just put pets in a cage, Paws for Fun took the time to know my pets. They cared about their individual personalities, likes, and dislikes, and they made sure both of them felt loved and comfortable. My dog, Bash, absolutely loves going there now and playing with other dogs—something I never thought possible. When we first started, he couldn’t even be around male dogs, but thanks to their thoughtful socialization efforts, he’s come so far. He plays in large groups of all breeds with both males and females now! What blows me away the most is their generosity. They’ve cared for my pets around 30 times and have never turned me away when I couldn’t afford to pay right away. I don’t have any other truly generous, positive experiences from any local businesses during one of the hardest times of my life. Their compassion, professionalism, and genuine love for animals are unmatched. You can tell just how much each and every employee there loves animals and I can’t speak for everyone but both of my pets absolutely love everyone there! They have even read my big 120lb Great Dane/pit mix bed time stories! They actually spend so much time playing and bonding with your pets! I’m forever a supporter of this business. They changed my life. They gave me hope when I had none left and no one to turn to.If you’re looking for a place where your pets will not only be well cared for but truly loved, Paws for Fun is it. They’ve made an immeasurable difference in our lives, and I’ll forever be grateful.A special thank you to Peggy, AJ, Mariah, Pam, Travis, Amber, Emilie, & Aiyana. I know I’m missing a few names but each and every one of y’all have a special place in my heart seeing how excited Bash gets when he sees you all. Thank you fromThe bottom of my heart. You will never understand what you did for us.
