Clean, quiet oasis with minimal amount of people. A great place to cookout with the family.

Nice place for a little hike. The less traveled red trail was peaceful. It’s not well blazed so if you are someone who is less experienced, red might not be for you. Stick to the more interior trails. “mountain” is a nice snack spot. Saw turtles, frog, pileated woodpecker and a snake. 3 deer near the exit on the drive out.

A gorgeous hike in upstate NY with barely any crowd. Total of 650ft elevation so a relatively easy hike with a partial view of the Hudson from top but the path itself is very scenic and there are a couple of lakes to stop by if you do the whole loop. Some trails intersect biking trails but we barely encountered any bikers. Best time to visit this is in Oct for the fall colours.

Great place to hike. Beginners should have no problem going through this trail. However, one of the trail heads ends up on a highway and makes it dangerous to go back to the town

Decent walk and lovely playground for kids. Beautiful Fall colors everywhere 🙂 We didn’t find the markings to be a problem, just take a picture of the map at the board on site and follow the numbers on the posts and colored markings in the trees. Easy.
