2 Sep 25 – We enjoyed a forested Crom pond trek for about 1.5 hours here. Lush green maple trees and pleasant weather. Certainly worth a visit if you are in this area.

Delightful park — lake you can fish and go out on, some trails, disc golf course. Trails have beautiful old hiking bridges, some restored by Eagle Scouts it would seem. Hosts some local running events. Tons of picnic areas and BBQ places. Really excellent historical signs, and some older FitTrail-type posts.

Not far from manhattan but you feel like you are a world away. Great parking and lots of trails. If you have kids, lots of playgrounds for them. The pool was closed. The bathrooms by the pool were locked – not good especially if you paid a fee to use the park, you expect the facilities to be available.
