If you’re tired of the planned, paved nature trails, dreamt up by some city planner who’s never been in nature. If you’re tired of the wood chips paths that used to be railroads tracks, now, overrun with people & with no sign of any animals, then THIS is the place for you.This is an ACTUAL Forest, where you can walk in far enough and not hear cars whizzing by and you can see fresh tracks from the deer and other animals.get up-close-and-personal with nature. There are some paths but it’s largely an open Forest.I would encourage all the visitors to pick up any litter, you can while you’re there to help keep the area beautiful. There are spots where you’ll find the occasional broken glass bottle, so make sure you wearing proper footwear.There is no bad time to go to the forest. So, put down your smartphone and grab your kids and go turn over a long and look at bugs. Walk around the lake. Look for turtles and fresh tracks.You won’t regret it and your family will thank you for the authentic experience.

A nice place to get lost in nature. A good place for a walk in the fresh air. You can walk up to about 2 miles if you do all the trails. It’s a great place to meet your neighbors and their kids and dogs. It get’s pretty busy at times. More of a local haunt.
I’m not from the area but I visited the park just exploring new trails to run. It’s not good running trail and like other reviews say, it’s more of a local spot for those in the area. While in the small park I came across 3 older gentleman who gave me a very unwelcoming look. Other than that, it’s a cool little place. Trail is easily marked
Pristine park. Good getaway from the city and is reminiscent of the bramble in Central Park.
